SUMMERTIME eReader Giveaway July 27th - August 7th: Tamed by the Outlaw by Michelle Sharp, Not Quite Home by Kristine Bria and Her Alaskan Hero by Rebecca Thomas {#Giveaway} @MSharpBooks @KristineBria @Rebecca_Thomas3 @Barclay_PR

MICHELLE SHARP

Hi everyone. My name is Michelle Sharp and I’m the author of the new Dream Seeker Series. I’ve thought long and hard about this worst pick-up line thing. Time and again, I keep coming back to one infamous night. Not because it was terribly exciting or anything, but because me and my best friend still laugh about it today.

I’m so old I can hardly remember a pickup line. And when you get to be my age, you don’t get them hurled at you any longer, either. My babies are having babies of their own, so I’m not even around that scene any longer. But I do have a few exceptional, colorful memories.
In the 1960’s and 1970’s pick up lines were very simple. The favorite pick up line in my day would have been, “I have some really good shit.” The guy would wiggle his eyebrows. I’d notice his pupils were dilated and I’d declare him truthful.
       My answer always was, “Really?”

SUMMERTIME eReader Giveaway July 27th - August 7th: Come Undone: Romance Stories Inspired by the Music of Duran Duran by Kerry Adrienne {#Giveaway} @kerryadrienne @Barclay_PR

KERRY ADRIENNE

I’m a major Green Day fan and anyone who knows me will roll his or her eyes when the topic comes up in conversation. So, when Green Day’s album, American Idiot, was turned into a Broadway play, I had to go to New York to see it. Several times.

SUMMERTIME eReader Giveaway July 27th - August 7th: Renegade by Caroline Lee and The Prince's Runaway Lover by Robin Covington {#Giveaway} @LoveCarolineLee @RobinCovington @Barclay_PR

CAROLINE LEE

I was a nerd in High School. I attended a math-and-science boarding school in SC, and was surrounded (finally!) by a bunch of other nerds (the story of how I ended up a historian is long and boring, so I’ll skip it).
Now, an author claiming to be a nerd is almost expected, what with geek-chic being a legit style choice these days. But I think I can back up my assertion with some examples.
For instance, we had a student-led pep-band for our basketball games, and one of our favorite chants went:
Sine, Cosine, Tangent, Sine,
Three-point-one-four-one-five-nine!

The Best Pickup Lines by Lisa Nicholas

Missed connections and might-have-beens are great romance novel fodder. Summer romances and flings? Even better! Let me tell you about one of the best pick-up lines I have ever had the good fortune to receive.
