Feature & Follow #28

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs! For more information visit: Parajunkee & Alison can Read.

Q: How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

A:I power through hoping that the rest of the story will get better. When I finish a book and really don't like it,I won't review it because I respect the author's hard work and I also respect fellow readers/bloggers who might have liked it.If it's the first book in a series then most likely I won't read the next installments.

What about you? :)

  1. Before I used to power through but not anymore. I DNF as soon as it gets boring!

  5. I'm able to power through more often now, but I used to leave a lot of books unfinished. I agree with you on the series. There's so many series that I've read at least the first book for, but I don't feel the need to read the sequels if I felt the need to power through it.

  7. I'll DNF if I'm having trouble getting through it, ot just set aside and maybe come back later and tackle it anew. Sometimes the 2nd time works!
