Q: How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

A:I power through hoping that the rest of the story will get better. When I finish a book and really don't like it,I won't review it because I respect the author's hard work and I also respect fellow readers/bloggers who might have liked it.If it's the first book in a series then most likely I won't read the next installments.

What about you? :)

  1. Before I used to power through but not anymore. I DNF as soon as it gets boring!

    Happy Friday, old follower!

  2. Yup, I do the same thing

  3. I try so hard to power though, but I just cannot bring myself to do it lol.

  5. I'm able to power through more often now, but I used to leave a lot of books unfinished. I agree with you on the series. There's so many series that I've read at least the first book for, but I don't feel the need to read the sequels if I felt the need to power through it.

  6. I always follow through with books. I'm a GFC follower. :b

  7. Usually I will give a book 50-100 pages before I DNF if I'm not enjoying it. I used to power through but I no longer have the time and it turned reading into a chore. There are too many books on my tbr pile for me to feel guilty and I'm picky about what I read, so only have 1 DNF so far!

  8. I'll DNF if I'm having trouble getting through it, ot just set aside and maybe come back later and tackle it anew. Sometimes the 2nd time works!
