Q: Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? What was it?
A: The truth is I had dreams with someone chasing me or being transported from one place to another. I even had dreams where real places from my life would mix together in a very weird way but for a very long time when I wake up I completely forget what I dreamt about.
I think it has something to do with REM sleep. If you wake up during REM sleep or shortly thereafter you remember your dreams but when you wake up long after REM sleep, you don't.
Well, I guess I'm unlucky for not remembering and lucky for not remembering my nightmares! :p

Nice to meet ya! :) I can't say I've had any recurring dreams - which I guess is nice, as most people seem to be talking about recurring nightmares today, which sounds awful :(

DeleteI've had the chase dreams too. I hate those. I think you're right in that it has something to do with the depth level of your sleep as to whether or not you dream and actually remember the dream. I'd rather have deep sleep than be chased. LOL. Now following via GFC.

DeleteI actually changed my nightmare chase into a more comedic chase so that I wouldn't be scared of it anymore Thank goodness for lucid dreaming.
