Synopsis
“I had my first psychic dream when I was nine. Psychic implied power, and powerful wasn’t a word I’d use to describe myself. I couldn’t foretell the future or conjure visions at will, but I couldn’t think of a more fitting word to describe what I sometimes saw in my dreams.”
For 23-year-old Mackenzie Hill, tossing her life down the garbage disposal is easy after a painful incident shatters her life. Her heart is bleeding, and moving to Watcher’s Point is a chance to start anew, only she isn’t prepared for the guy who walks out of her dreams and into the flesh. Literally . . . because she’s been dreaming about this sexy stranger for years.
Mackenzie is even less prepared to face the dark nature of her dreams. They’ve turned disturbingly gruesome, full of blood and murder, and when they begin to coincide with the media’s headlines, she and Aidan realize her visions might be the key to stopping a madman from killing again.
Only Aidan has painful secrets of his own, and perhaps the biggest danger of all is falling for him.

Review
The story
23-year-old Mackenzie Hill is special and she knows it.For the last few years she has been seeing the exact same person in her dreams.Handsome and mysterious. These are the two words she could use to describe him.Her life wasn't perfect but she was happy living with her long time boyfriend,Joe.But one day and a horrible incident and Mackenzie leaves her family, her boyfriend who treated her like she was a liar and her life behind and moves to Watcher's Point.
There she gets a job as a waitress and becomes close friends with one of her coworkers,Six.But she's far from being happy again because a serial killer is in town and he starts killing innocent girls, one of them being Six.
Apart form being scared for her own life, the stranger who has become an essential part of her dreams all these years, exists and walks right into her life. His name is Aidan and he's in town because the serial killer killed his wife and since then he hasn't stopped hunting him down.
Mackenzie feels like she's known Aidan for most of her life and when she notices how sad and lost he is,she just wants to help him. That puts her life at risk but she will risk everything for him.Their attraction is obvious and it's pretty difficult to stay apart from each other when the killer places a photo of Aidan's wife on Mackenzie's bed. However,a killer on the loose isn't the only thing that might keep them apart.Their families have a lot of skeletons in their closets and now that the secrets are out, their relationship will be tested.

Verdict
Epiphany is the first book in a new series that you'll love.Murders, secrets buried for years,a forbidden romance with a touch of the paranormal. What's not to love?
About
the Author
Christina Jean Michaels was born in Paradise, California, but she has found the true home of her heart in Eugene, Oregon where she finds plenty of inspiration for storytelling.
When she was young, her mother said she hated words. Now she can't imagine not writing. She became an avid reader when she was thirteen and discovered the world of Sweet Valley High. About a year later she realized she could play God and write about her own characters. She has been writing in some form ever since.
She lives with her husband and their four children—three rambunctious UFC/wrestling-loving boys and one girl who steals everyone’s attention.
